Projects

Spectroelectrochemistry

Operando spectroelectrochemical platforms integrate electrochemical control with optical and infrared probes to monitor charge accumulation, polaron formation, and interfacial transformations.

Plasmonics

Research in this area focuses on the fundamental mechanisms of hot-carrier generation and transfer in metallic and semiconductor plasmonic materials. Hot carriers can be injected across interfaces, driving charge separation and chemical transformations.

Quantum Materials

Electrochemical tuning of excitonic and carrier dynamics in chalcogenides, transition‑metal oxides, and core–shell quantum dots.

Ultrafast IR & Pump–Probe

10⁻¹⁵–10⁻³ s dynamics; TA‑IR/Vis, OPA‑pumped measurements; temperature and potential control.
